Our hearts are so full after spending Thursday evening studying God's Word together!

We kicked off Her Story ❤ by exploring the lives of Eve and Sarah, and what beautiful reminders they gave us of God's grace and faithfulness.

✨ Eve's story reminds us that even after sin entered the world, God immediately revealed His plan of redemption. Our failures never surprise Him, and His grace is always greater.

✨ Sarah's story reminds us that God's promises are never dependent on our timeline. Even when she laughed at what seemed impossible, God remained faithful - and fulfilled every promise He had made.

One of our favorite parts of the evening was hearing everyone's questions and watching Scripture connect to Scripture through the Rooted Framework™. There is something so special about studying God's Word together!

Eve's story reminds us that the battle has never been won by our own strength. We were never meant to rely on ourselves. We were created to walk with God, trust His Word, and depend on His strength.

The enemy still whispers the same lies today, but we don't have to face him alone. Through Christ, we have His Spirit, His Word, and His power at work within us.

When you feel weak, don't strive harder - draw closer.

The deeper your roots grow in Christ, the stronger you'll stand when temptation comes.

🌿 "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." — 2 Corinthians 12:9 (ESV)

I've been serving the Lord for the past 7 years, and my greatest passion is growing closer to Him and serving in ministry. My husband and I first got together in the 8th grade, and today he serves as the youth pastor at Maple Grove.

🌿 **Proverbs 31:30** reminds us where true beauty and lasting strength are found:

*"Charm is deceptive, and beauty is fleeting; but a woman who fears the Lord is to be praised."*

The world tells us our value comes from our appearance, achievements, or the approval of others. God's Word tells a different story. A woman whose life is deeply rooted in Him will bear fruit that lasts—love, wisdom, grace, strength, and faithfulness.

Just as a tree with deep roots can withstand every season, a woman whose heart is rooted in Christ can stand firm through life's joys and trials. Her confidence isn't found in who the world says she is, but in whose she is.

Let's be women who sink our roots deep into God's Word, allowing Him to shape our hearts, strengthen our faith, and produce fruit that points others to Jesus.

I'm one of the founders of Rooted, and I have a deep passion for helping women know God's Word, grow in their faith, and become confident disciples of Jesus Christ.

Last November, a few friends and I began sharing verse-by-verse Bible teaching videos with a simple prayer - that God would use His Word to encourage others. We had no idea how He would begin opening doors through Bible studies, workshops, and this incredible community.

Then, on April 28, 2026, my life changed forever.

What was expected to be a routine surgery became a miracle of God's faithfulness. Through every moment, the Lord reminded me that He had entrusted us with the Gospel - the hope of a Savior - and the mission to faithfully share it with the world.

That experience didn't create my calling.

💗 It confirmed it.

Rooted exists because we believe God's Word changes lives. Our heart is to help people grow deeper roots in Christ, strengthen their local churches, and become disciples who make disciples.

Whether you've been here from the beginning or you're just joining us, I'm so grateful you're here.

🌿 Rooted in Proverbs 29

"Where there is no prophetic vision the people cast off restraint, but blessed is he who keeps the law." Proverbs 29:18

It's easy to read this verse and think it's talking about goals or dreams, but Solomon is pointing us to something much deeper.

Without God's Word to guide us, we lose our direction.

Our culture encourages us to follow our hearts, but Scripture calls us to follow the Lord. When we neglect God's truth, we begin making decisions based on feelings, opinions, and circumstances instead of His wisdom.

But there is a blessing for those who remain rooted in His Word.

Every time you open your Bible, you're allowing God to shape your heart, renew your mind, and direct your steps. His Word gives clarity when life feels confusing, peace when circumstances are uncertain, and hope when the future seems unclear.

Don't underestimate the power of consistently spending time in Scripture. Deep roots aren't formed overnight—they grow one faithful day at a time.

Prayer:
Father, thank You for the gift of Your Word. Help me to seek Your wisdom above my own understanding and to build my life on the truth of Scripture. Root me deeply in Christ so that every decision I make brings glory to You. In Jesus' name, Amen.

🌿 Rooted in Proverbs 29

"Where there is no prophetic vision the people cast off restraint, but blessed is he who keeps the law." Proverbs 29:18

It's easy to read this verse and think it's talking about goals or dreams, but Solomon is pointing us to something much deeper.

Without God's Word to guide us, we lose our direction.

Our culture encourages us to follow our hearts, but Scripture calls us to follow the Lord. When we neglect God's truth, we begin making decisions based on feelings, opinions, and circumstances instead of His wisdom.

But there is a blessing for those who remain rooted in His Word.

Every time you open your Bible, you're allowing God to shape your heart, renew your mind, and direct your steps. His Word gives clarity when life feels confusing, peace when circumstances are uncertain, and hope when the future seems unclear.

Don't underestimate the power of consistently spending time in Scripture. Deep roots aren't formed overnight—they grow one faithful day at a time.

Prayer:
Father, thank You for the gift of Your Word. Help me to seek Your wisdom above my own understanding and to build my life on the truth of Scripture. Root me deeply in Christ so that every decision I make brings glory to You. In Jesus' name, Amen.

🌿 Proverbs 28 | Walking in Integrity 🌿

There is a powerful contrast woven throughout Proverbs 28: the way of the righteous and the way of the wicked. One path is marked by fear, deception, and self-reliance. The other is marked by confidence, integrity, and trust in the Lord.

One verse that stands out is:

"Whoever conceals his transgressions will not prosper, but he who confesses and forsakes them will obtain mercy." Proverbs 28:13 (ESV)

What a beautiful reminder of the heart of the Gospel. God isn't asking us to pretend we have it all together. He invites us to come honestly before Him. There is freedom in confession, healing in repentance, and mercy waiting for those who turn back to Him.

Proverbs 28 also reminds us that integrity matters. Our character is shaped by the small, everyday choices we make - choosing honesty over compromise, generosity over selfishness, and God's wisdom over our own understanding.

Today, ask yourself:
🌱 Is there anything I've been trying to hide from God?
🌱 Am I walking in integrity, even when no one else is watching?
🌱 Where is God inviting me to trust Him more fully?

The Lord's mercy is new every morning. No matter where you've been or what you've carried, His grace is enough to forgive, restore, and strengthen you for today.

One of the most powerful verses in this chapter says, **"As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another."** (Proverbs 27:17) God created us to grow together—to speak truth in love, encourage one another, and point each other back to Christ.

Take time today to thank God for the people who sharpen your faith, and ask Him to help you be that kind of friend to someone else. ❤️

🌿 Proverbs 24 | Build Wisely, Stand Firm

"By wisdom a house is built, and by understanding it is established; by knowledge the rooms are filled with all precious and pleasant riches." Proverbs 24:3–4 (ESV)

We often spend so much time building our schedules, careers, homes, and dreams that we forget the most important foundation: wisdom from God.

Proverbs 24 reminds us that a strong life isn't built on talent, success, or circumstances. It's built one faithful choice at a time. Wisdom lays the foundation. Understanding strengthens the walls. Knowledge fills the home with things that truly matter - peace, joy, grace, and the presence of God.

This chapter also gives us a beautiful reminder of God's grace:

"For the righteous falls seven times and rises again, but the wicked stumble in times of calamity." Proverbs 24:16

Following Jesus doesn't mean you'll never fall. It means you never have to stay down. God's mercy is new every morning, and He faithfully strengthens those who continue to trust Him.

Today, ask yourself:
🌿 What am I building my life upon?
🌿 Are my daily choices drawing me closer to Christ?
🌿 When I stumble, do I run back to God or away from Him?

Build your life on His Word. Trust His wisdom above your own. Keep getting back up, because the God who called you is faithful to complete the work He began in you.

Prayer:
Father, help me build my life on Your wisdom instead of my own understanding. Give me discernment to make choices that honor You, strength to rise when I fall, and a heart that seeks You above everything else. Make my life a testimony of Your faithfulness. In Jesus' name, Amen.

🌿 Because where God plants you, He intends to use you.

Sometimes we spend so much time waiting for the next season that we miss what God wants to do in the one we're living right now.

✨ Maybe He's planted you in your workplace to be a light.
✨ Maybe He's planted you in your family to be a source of peace.
✨ Maybe He's planted you in your church to encourage others.
✨ Maybe He's planted you in this season to grow your faith before He grows your influence.

God doesn't place us by accident. Every conversation, every opportunity, and every ordinary day can become a place where His love is made known.

The more we root ourselves in God's Word, the more we learn to trust His leading. We may not always understand why we're where we are, but we can trust the One who planted us there.

📖 "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not rely on your own understanding; in all your ways know Him, and He will make your paths straight." Proverbs 3:5–6

Today, don't just ask, "God, get me out of here."

Ask, "Lord, how can You use me right here?"

It's easy to believe that if we work a little harder, plan a little better, or try a little more, we'll finally have everything under control. But Proverbs 21 reminds us of a freeing truth: God is the One who is ultimately in control.

"Many are the plans in a person's heart, but it is the Lord's purpose that prevails." (See also Proverbs 19:21.) And Proverbs 21 echoes this truth by reminding us that "the horse is made ready for the day of battle, but victory rests with the Lord." (Proverbs 21:31)

We are called to prepare faithfully, but we are not called to carry the weight of the outcome. Our responsibility is obedience; God's responsibility is the victory.

This chapter also reminds us that God desires more than outward acts of religion. He delights in hearts that pursue righteousness, justice, and humility. When our lives are rooted in Him, our faith becomes evident not just in what we say, but in how we live each day.

🌿 Rooted Truth: Faith prepares diligently, trusts completely, and leaves the results in God's hands.

Prayer: Lord, help me release my need to control every outcome. Give me the wisdom to prepare faithfully, the courage to walk in obedience, and the peace to trust You with the results. Shape my heart to love what You love and to seek righteousness above success. May my life reflect Your goodness in all I do. In Jesus' name, Amen.

🌿 Proverbs 20

We live in a world that celebrates appearances, but God is far more interested in authenticity.

Proverbs 20 reminds us that wisdom is revealed not only in what we say but in how we live. Our integrity, our choices, and the way we treat others all reflect the condition of our hearts.

"The righteous lead blameless lives; blessed are their children after them." (Proverbs 20:7)

Sometimes the world tells us that success comes through chasing more; more money, more influence, more recognition. But Proverbs 19 gently redirects our hearts toward what truly matters.

"Better the poor whose walk is blameless than a fool whose lips are perverse." (Proverbs 19:1)

God isn't measuring our lives by our accomplishments or possessions. He's looking at the condition of our hearts. A life marked by integrity, humility, and obedience is far more valuable than worldly success without Him.

Proverbs 19 also reminds us that we can make many plans, but it is the Lord's purpose that ultimately stands (v. 21). There is freedom in that truth. We don't have to carry the weight of controlling every outcome. We can faithfully walk where God leads, trusting that His plans are wiser, greater, and more loving than our own.

There is freedom in surrender. Surrender doesn't mean giving up; it means trusting God enough to place our plans, dreams, and desires in His hands. When we acknowledge Him in all we do, we can rest knowing that He is working for our good and His glory.
